Computer and printer repair at your home in Geneva
A computer that crawls, a printer that "no longer exists" as far as the PC is concerned, a new laptop that needs setting up: no need to carry your equipment to a workshop. I come directly to your home, for PCs and Macs alike.
Computers (PC and Mac)
- Slow computer: clean-up, optimisation, updates, replacement advised if the machine is at the end of its life (I tell you honestly whether it is worth repairing).
- New computer setup: unboxing, configuration, transfer of your documents and photos from the old one, installation of your software, connection to the printer and Wi-Fi.
- Software installation and configuration: office suite, e-mail, video calls, antivirus, backup.
- E-mail problems: e-mails no longer sending, locked account, setup on computer, tablet and phone.
- Backing up your data: setting up an automatic backup so you never again fear losing everything.
- Buying advice: I help you choose a computer suited to your use and budget, without overselling hardware.
Printers
- Full setup: over USB or Wi-Fi, on all your devices (computers, tablets, phones).
- Troubleshooting: printer "offline", not found on the network, print jobs stuck, scanner not responding.
- Replacement: advice, setup of the new one, configuration carried over.
Patient support, no jargon
Many of my clients are not IT enthusiasts — and that is perfectly fine. I explain what I am doing, I write down the important passwords with you, and I make sure you are self-sufficient before I leave.

Frequently asked questions
My computer won't start, black screen: what should I do?
It can come from the power supply, the hard drive, an interrupted Windows update or a power cut during start-up. I diagnose the precise cause before telling you anything — it is not always serious.
What should I do about a Windows blue screen?
A blue screen (BSOD) usually signals a driver conflict, a badly installed update or a hardware problem. I look at the error details to identify the exact cause rather than reinstalling Windows by reflex.
My computer freezes while in use. Why?
The most common causes: overheating (dust, fan), not enough available memory, a hard drive at the end of its life, or too many programs launched at start-up. A diagnosis shows which one applies to your machine.
My computer won't restart after a power cut. Is it serious?
Not necessarily: often the power supply or the drive just needs checking, rarely a full replacement. I take stock before talking about hardware to replace.
My mailbox (Outlook, Gmail...) no longer receives my messages. What should I do?
The most common causes: wrong sync settings after an update, a full inbox, or an account connection problem after a password change. I check the configuration and get your e-mail working again on all your devices.
