Setting up your Sunrise TV box
Here are the steps to install your Sunrise TV box yourself. If you get stuck at a step, or if you would rather have it done for you, I can come to your home.
Plug in the Sunrise Internet router
With the fibre or coaxial cable connected, wait for the lights to settle.
Connect the TV box to the TV
Supplied HDMI cable, into a free HDMI input on your television.
Connect the TV box to the router
With a network cable (recommended, more stable) or over Wi-Fi via the setup menu.
Select the right HDMI input
On your TV remote, choose the input the TV box is plugged into.
Follow the on-screen assistant
Pairing with your Sunrise account, language choice, software update if requested.
Wait for the update
It can take several minutes. Do not unplug the box during this step.
If it doesn't work
The most common sticking points: HDMI cable not clicked in, wrong TV input selected, or a Wi-Fi connection too weak between the router and the TV box (a wired connection solves most cases). If after these steps the picture stays black or the box won't pair with your account, I can come and set it up at your home.
