Setting up your Sunrise Internet router

Here are the steps to install it yourself. If the light stays red or nothing works afterwards, I can come to your home.

  1. Plug in the cable

Optical fibre or coaxial cable, into the dedicated port on the back of the box.

  2. Plug in the power

Wait 2 to 3 minutes for the box to start up completely.

  3. Check the Internet light

It should turn solid green or white. Red or blinking = network connection problem.

  4. Connect to the Wi-Fi

Network name (SSID) and password are printed on the label on the back of the box.

  5. Add an extender if needed

Connect it to the box with a network cable, or follow the pairing procedure to extend Wi-Fi coverage.

  6. Set up your Sunrise credentials

When you first open the box's configuration interface.

If the light stays red

A red light that persists after several minutes usually means the line is not yet activated on the network side, or a connection problem at the fibre socket. Before calling support, check that the cable is fully clicked in at both ends. If the problem persists, I can diagnose on site whether it comes from the box, your home's cabling or the Sunrise network.

Call 078 733 94 96 and describe what you see on the box.
